Thirty-five Things I’ve Learned In Thirty-five Years Of Marriage

8 Dec

I just love Winifred’s take on marriage!

Speaking of Marriage

iStock_000010401448XSmallLike most newlyweds, my husband and I stepped into marriage bright-eyed, optimistic and flat-out unprepared. We’d had terrible family role models and possessed virtually no tools, yet — let’s hear it for young love — we assumed that our marriage would be a rousing success.

A brilliant post – thanks for leading me that way! Had such a good chuckle!
I also stopped by kind sir to share a little something with you…
yes, you have been nominated… but don’t lose your marbles and hang onto your panties…
for The The Sisterhood of the World Blogger’s Award which I hope you will accept despite being a brother and not a sister lol. Many manly congratulations!

Aarrgh! And thank you very much for the honour, MiF. I can barely keep up with the comments and post email alerts. I’ve yet to action even a single award.

If I don’t get to it until 2018, can you just consider me an Honourary Honourary Sisterhood Sister? Is it okay if the panties are the boxer short types? Masculine insecurity and all that.

Winifred is my relationship hero(ine). Anyone who can write a relationship post on “The Art of Shutting Up” deserves an Academy Award or a Nobel Prize or something.

Hehe – of course you busy blogger you – me I am but a small cat fish in this ocean of blue whale bloggers so I have the time to accept such things (sniff)

But of course – I would hop you would wear the boxers I would not like to imagine you in panties…that could be strange and creepy…;) So an Honorary Sisterhood sister it is.

An yes – I agree Winifred is a remarkable insightful soul – she should be sister too…perhaps some day when you have nothing to do and decide to get out those sisterhood boxers hey? lol
